Welcome to The Kamhi House

On June 28th 2004 I moved into my first house, a beautiful midcentury modern home located in Reseda, CA.  I love the smooth layout of the house, the modern lines, the vaulted ceilings, the floor to ceiling windows and the post and beams.  Unfortunately (or possibly fortunately), the previous owner that lived in the house had not made any changes for 40+ years.  Seems to me that all he did was add plants and trees to the outside.  The inside of the house has essentially stayed the same since the sixties.  This leaves me with a lot of gardening and house remoldeling to do.  Aside from removing the trees that are breaking the foundation and sewer line, replacing the rotten roof, installing air conditioning (it gets hot in the valley!) and fixing the interesting do-it-yourself with no knowledge electrical work, among several other things, everything else is cosmetic.  Here you can watch my hidden cottage looking house transform into a modern marvel.

This door can't open or close at this time due to the insane ivy overgrowth!
